The University of Cebu School of Law, through its UC Legal Aid and Law Center Inc., and Oceana Philippines signed a Memorandum of Agreement involving the promotion of ocean conservation.

The partnership will also serve as the vehicle for UC Law alumni, faculty, and students in taking an active part in ocean conservation using their knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Oceana Philippines is the Philippine office of Oceana, which is an international organization focused solely on oceans, dedicated to achieving measurable change by conducting specific, science-based policy campaigns with fixed deadlines and articulated goals.
