Molding the Next Generation of Environmental Law Advocates through Experiential Learning

Students of the UC School of Law planted native guyabano seedlings last November 30, 2019 at Barangay Buot, Cebu City as a culminating activity in their Natural Resources and Enviromental Law (NREL) class. The annual tree planting activity is an initiative of handling professor, Atty. Rose Liza Eisma-Osorio, who believes that learning never stops, whether inside or outside the classroom.

Prior to the tree planting activity, the NREL students of Prof. Osorio were also exposed to various mooting exercises on key issues such as international environmental law/marine plastic pollution, responsibility of states for the climate crisis, and the Kaliwa Dam project.
