UC School of Law Dean Al-Shwaid Ismael, Senior Professor Rose Liza Eisma-Osorio, and selected law students attended the 1st Southeast Asian Biodiversity and Climate Change Policy Forum organized by the UP Law Center Institue of International Legal Studies. The policy forum was held last January 7, 2020 at the Malcolm Theatre of the UP College of Law in Diliman, Quezon City.

With the theme “Mobilizing Regional Action to Conserve and Restore Vulnerable Ecosystems,” the policy forum was attended by various law professors, public interest lawyers, and law students. Stetson University Professors Royal Charles Gardner and Erin Okuno respectively discussed the Wetland Ecosystems in the Southeast Asia and the Climate Change and Biodiversity Nexus and the Climate Change and Coral Reefs.
