Faculty, students, and alumni of the UC School of Law joined millions of devotees in the solemn procession of the holy image of the Señor Santo Niño in the Queen City of the South on January 18, 2020.

The solemn procession is held annually a day before the grand parade in celebration of the Sinulog Festival, which is Cebu’s annual cultural and religious festival.

UC Law first participated in the solemn procession in 2003, but the tradition was discontinued in 2008. It was, however, revived last year through the initiative of the law school’s incumbent dean.
