The UC School of Law, in partnership with the UC Law Students Society (UCLASS), distributed grocery items and medicines to affected law students, working scholars, and staff last March 27, 2020– a day before the lockdown in Cebu City took effect.

Cebu City has been placed under a State of Enhanced General Community Quarantine effective noon of March 28, 2020 until noon of April 28, 2020 pursuant to Executive Order No. 064 issued by Mayor Edgardo C. Labella.
