A law school community that genuinely cares
When UC School of Law unexpectedly migrated to online classes early this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, one of the challenges encountered by some of its students is the lack of Wi-Fi connection and reliable device. Some students only used their mobile phones and relied on free data in attending online classes for the remainder of the semester.
As the UC School of Law adopts flexible learning and integrates Schoology, a learning management system, for School Year 2020-2021, a number of its students are still at a disadvantage. Thus, a small group of UC Law alumni initiated Project Quo Warrantine, an alumni-founded project which aims to raise funds for the purchase of plug-in Wi-Fi routers and reliable devices to be used by UC Law students in need to meet with online requirements.
Believing that with privilege comes responsibility, these alumni are urging other UC Law alumni and faculty and their respective friends and family, as well as other interested individuals to donate and become sponsors!
Indeed, our membership in the UC Law community lasts longer than our law school journey.
