UC Law commemorates Law Week 2020

The UC School of Law and its law student government, the University of Cebu Law Students Society (UCLASS), jointly organize activities in celebration of the Philippine National Law Week 2020. The celebration kicked-off last week with the prelim exams, as well as the Trivia Night for the September 19, 2020 Law Day. The celebration will spill over to this week with a series of webinars, including a virtual legal aid-related activity, in coordination with the Department of Education Mandaue and IBP Cebu Chapter, for the benefit of the teachers in Mandaue-based schools.

Presidential Proclamation No. 640, series of 1995, declared the third week of September every year as Philippine National Week Law and Presidential Proclamation No. 1477, series of 1975, declared September 19 of every year as Law Day.

While the unprecedented health crisis may have constrained law schools to adjust their academic calendar, it did not, however, stop UC Law from observing this year’s Law Week.
