Following the signing of the memorandum of agreement between the University of Cebu (UC) and the University of Airlangga (UA), which covers the partnership between their respective law schools, UC Law’s Dean Al-Shwaid de Leon Ismael was invited as visiting scholar for the UA Faculty of Law’s International Class. Dean Ismael’s lecture on Comparative Commercial Law last October 22, 2020 is the first of many activities between the two law schools.

UC Law’s international relations initiatives, which are primarily carried out through partnerships with foreign law schools, aim to provide its faculty, students, and alumni with graduate legal studies, exchange programs, and research collaboration opportunities in line with its institutional goal of Global Competence.
