UC Law, in partnership with IBP Cebu and PEJC, organized paralegal training and information education campaign in Asturias, Cebu

The UC School of Law’s Legal Aid Office, in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Cebu Chapter and the Philippine Earth Justice Center, Inc. (PEJC), conducted a Paralegal Training and Information Education Campaign (IEC) in Environmental Laws to Brgy. Captains and stakeholders in the Municipality of Asturias last October 24, 2020.

The IEC on different environmental laws was conducted in order to guide the various stakeholders on their plans and projects for the development of Buswang Lake in Brgy. Buswang, Asturias and ensure compliance of environmental rules and procedures.

At UC Law, we reach out to communities and impart basic legal knowledge and empower the people, as well as establish linkages and cooperate with responsible stakeholders in addressing various environmental, legal, and other socio-political concerns.
