The UC School of Law conducted a webinar entitled, “Coping with Mental Health Amid the Pandemic,” earlier today. Atty. Orville dela Cerna, a well-respected resource speaker on the subject matter, gave the talk, which was attended by more than a hundred UC Law students.
The webinar held today is the second mental health-related activity organized by the law school during the First Semester of School Year 2020-2021. A webinar on studying law in the new normal was also conducted right before classes started in August.
Apart from the webinars, the Office of the Dean also declared a two-day academic pause last month to address the impact of flexible learning on the mental health of the students (and faculty) and give everyone the time to rest and recharge.
At UC Law, we care about the mental health of our students as much as we give importance to quality legal education and the holistic training of our students.
