The UC Legal Aid Office has successfully implemented the scheduled Legal Aid Activity at Tamiao, Compostela, Cebu last March 6, 2021. The activity was in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Cebu Chapter and Rotary Club of Cebu North.

In attendance were the residents and barangay officials, among others. Atty John Menguito, the Director of the UC Legal Aid and Ret. Judge Meinrado Paredes, a member of the Faculty of the University of Cebu School of Law, discussed the different environmental laws of the country, its implementation, and challenges sorrounding these laws. 

The attendees were encouraged to stay engaged, know the law, and help implement them.
