The University of Cebu (UC) recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Indonesia’s top-ranked public university, the Universitas Indonesia (UI), in connection with the academic cooperation between UC’s School of Law and UI’s Faculty of Law. The partnership between the two law schools covers faculty and student exchange programs and research collaboration, among others.
The UI Faculty of Law is a law school based in Jawa Barat, Indonesia, and is regarded as one of the leading faculties of law in Southeast Asia. The partnership with UI Faculty of Law is UC Law’s 6th partnership with a foreign law school in line with its international relations initiatives. Other existing partner law schools are The School of Law of Fordham University (New York, USA), University of Canberra Law School (Canberra, Australia), University of Baltimore School of Law (Maryland, USA), Narxoz University Law and Public Policy (Almaty, Kazakhstan), and Universitas Airlangga Faculty of Law (Surabaya, Indonesia).
At UC Law, we institutionalize strong networks and linkages that facilitate the sharing of best practices and enhance awareness of students about the various legal systems and cultures.
