\Cebu City’s EOC and PNP conduct ocular inspection at UC Banilad in preparation for the Bar exams
Preparations at UC Banilad are in full swing despite the announcement of the Supreme Court resetting the Bar exams from November 2021 to January 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 2022 (SC Bar Bulletin No. 28, s. 2021).
The Cebu City Government, together with its Emergency Operations Center and the Philippine National Police, conducted an ocular inspection last September 27, 2021 at the University of Cebu Banilad Campus, which is a testing center in Cebu City for the first ever digitalized and localized Bar exams. UC Banilad can accommodate up to 1,000 examinees. UC School of Law Dean Al-Shwaid facilitated the briefing and discussion on the requirements of the Supreme Court as well as health and security protocols that are required to be observed in all four Sundays.
University of Cebu’s commitment to the Supreme Court in relation to the conduct and hosting of the Bar exams remains unchanged notwithstanding the postponement.
To all Bar candidates, especially Batch Sidlak and Batch Bidlisiw of UC Law, the resetting of the Bar exams is just a temporary setback. We will continue to pray for your success. Padayon!
