The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) partnered with the University of Cebu School of Law (UC Law) in conducting the Virtual Campus Tour (VCT) on Competition Law and Policy last 23 October 2021 via MS Teams.
Attended by more than 150 faculty and third year and fourth year students of UC Law as well as some practicing lawyers in Cebu, the 5-hour webinar was part of the Visayas leg of PCC’s VCT project, which aims to create a culture of competition and enhance compliance with the Philippine Competition Act. It builds on PCC’s advocacy of raising awareness of the academic community and engaging a cadre of future competition advocates among students. PCC Commissioner Johannes R. Bernabe also attended the event and was among the presenters.
At UC Law, we provide opportunities for our faculty and students to learn about recent legal developments and appreciate maiden concepts and principles in different fields of law. We also recognize the importance of collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including government regulatory agencies, in capacity building.
