UC School of Law Dean Al-Shwaid Ismael participated in the 2022 Asia-Pacific Law Deans’ Forum organized by the International Association of Law Schools (IALS) last March 29, 2022.

With the theme “Legal Education Post-Pandemic: Being Proactive for the Future,” this year’s IALS Asia-Pacific forum was held virtually and attended by approximately 40 member schools in the region. It was the first regional forum organized by the IALS after two years of COVID-19 pandemic.

The IALS is a private, non-political, non-profit, volunteer, collaborative, learned society dedicated to serving the worldwide legal education community. It is an association of more than 230 law schools and departments from over 70 countries representing more than 10,500 law faculty members.
