UC Law inks partnership with Cebu City Prosecution Office

The UC School of Law signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Cebu City Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO) last July 14, 2022 to further strengthen the collaboration between UC Law and CCPO in the delivery of fast and efficient justice as well as in the implementation of relevant programs and projects of the Cebu City Justice Zone. This initiative will also give UC Law’s level 2-certified Law Student Practitioners the opportunity to handle actual cases and appear before the court under the supervision of the handling prosecutor in accordance with the Revised Law Student Practice Rule.

Present during the signing of the MOA were Cebu City Prosecutor Liceria S. Lofranco-Rabillas, Cebu City Justice Zone Convenor and Regional Trial Court of Cebu City Executive Judge Marlon Jay G. Moneva, UC Law Dean Al-Shwaid Ismael, UC Legal Aid Office Director Atty. Christopher John Menguito, and UC Law College Secretary Atty. Emi Rose S. Remoroza-Parcon.

At UC Law, we are committed to producing top-notch, socially responsible, and practice-ready lawyers through our various student-centered and socially relevant programs.
