The UC School of Law and the University of Cebu Law Students Society (UCLASS) honored the new batch of UC lawyers in an intimate Testimonial Dinner and Honoring of New Lawyers ceremony held last September 10, 2022 at Beverly View Pavillion, Cebu City.

No less than University of Cebu Chairman Augusto W. Go graced the event and personally congratulated the new UC lawyers as well as the law school for its outstanding achievement in the 2020/21 Bar Examinations held in February this year. UC Law produced 1 excellent passer and 11 exemplary performers, and emerged as the best performing school nationwide under category 2 (based on overall passers). UC Banilad also successfully hosted the first ever digitalized and regionalized/localized Bar examinations.

Also present during the event were Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu City Chapter President and the guest of honor Atty. Michelle Mendez-Palmares, IBP Cebu Chapter Officers, UC Law Professor, UCLASS Officers, and the #BestBarEver2020_21 passers from UC Law.

The new UC Lawyers were reminded of the many great things that lawyers can do for our community and our country, especially in upholding the rule of law, as well as to always make a difference as they now perform their duties as members of the legal profession.
