UC Law participates in LEB-organized legal education advancement program conference
The UC School of Law participated in the recently concluded Legal Education Advancement Program (LEAP) Year-End Conference in Manila, Philippines.
With the theme “Transforming Legal Education: Educating for Justice in a Digital World,” the 4-day conference was organized by the Legal Education Board (LEB) and attended by more than a hundred law school deans and administrators as well as legal educators and scholars.
UC Law Dean Al-Shwaid Ismael represented the law school. He also gave a talk on innovation and technology in legal education in one of the panel discussions, and shared UC Law’s recent innovations in terms of delivery of legal education and teaching pedagogies.
Dean Ismael and UC Law Professor Atty. Sheryl C. Jaudines-Seno also completed the LEAP Certification Program.
